For peak season (May–September), book 6–8 weeks out. Off-peak, 3–4 weeks is usually enough. Same-week long-distance is sometimes possible if our route schedule lines up — call us.

No to both. Every long-distance move gets a dedicated Nomad truck and Nomad crew. We are the carrier — we don’t resell to the lowest-bid driver on a load board.

Yes. Short-term storage-in-transit is available — held in our warehouse, climate-controlled. We quote storage case-by-case based on volume and duration; there’s no automatic free window, just a short-term option that we can extend if needed.
Federal carrier liability is $0.60/lb/article (free, by law). For a typical 3-bed move that’s rarely enough — most clients add Full-Value Protection at ~1.5% of declared value. We have $1M general / $2M cargo on every truck.

We pull a COI for every long-distance delivery building (free). If access requires a smaller shuttle truck (common in NYC, SF, Boston), that’s included in your binding quote — no day-of shuttle fees.
