Information we collect

Information you provide. We may collect your name, telephone number, email address, moving addresses, move date, inventory, property-access details, requested services, photographs or videos you provide for an estimate, building requirements, and messages or notes you send us.

Booking and transaction information. When you book or pay for services, we may collect billing details, transaction amounts, signed documents, valuation selections, and other records connected to your move. Complete payment-card information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored on our website servers.

Information collected automatically. When you use our website, we may receive your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring page, approximate location, and interaction data through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Prepare quotes and written estimates.
  • Schedule, plan, dispatch, perform, and document moving services.
  • Communicate about appointments, surveys, crews, pickup, delivery, billing, and customer inquiries.
  • Process payments and maintain required business records.
  • Provide certificates of insurance and coordinate building, elevator, or parking requirements when requested.

SMS/MMS text message data policy (TCR compliance)

Program description and consent. When you provide your mobile number and select the optional SMS consent checkbox on our form, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Nomad Relocation Co. relating to your request or move. These messages may include quote responses, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, crew or delivery notifications, billing notices, and replies to your inquiries.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing our services. Message frequency varies according to the services you request. Message and data rates may apply.

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we will send an SMS confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again. For assistance, reply HELP or email info@nomadrelocationco.com.

Non-disclosure of mobile information and SMS consent. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be provided only to service providers that help us operate the messaging program, and only as necessary to deliver messages on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Opting out of text messages does not prevent us from communicating by telephone or email when reasonably necessary to respond to your request or perform services you have booked. Please review our Terms & Conditions for additional information about the messaging program.

How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Work with service providers that support website hosting, customer management, payment processing, communications, document delivery, analytics, and business operations.
  • Coordinate requested moving services with destination agents, storage providers, specialty-service providers, or other contractors involved in fulfilling a customer’s move.
  • Comply with a law, regulation, court order, legal process, insurance requirement, or government request.
  • Protect the rights, safety, property, and security of our customers, employees, business, or the public.
  • Complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

The disclosures described above do not permit recipients to use mobile numbers or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
