Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These terms govern your use of nomadrelocationco.com and the moving services provided by Nomad Relocation Co. (MA DPU 25HG39 · USDOT 4574476 · MC 01820011). By requesting a quote or booking a move you agree to them.

Quotes and pricing

Our written quotes are binding flat-rate proposals based on the inventory and access conditions you describe or we survey. The price changes only if the scope changes — items added after the survey, undisclosed access constraints (e.g., an unbookable elevator), or date changes you request. Any adjustment is documented and agreed before work continues.

Booking, deposits, and cancellation

A move date is reserved with a deposit, applied to your final invoice. Deposits are fully refundable up to 72 hours before the scheduled move window. Inside 72 hours the deposit may be retained to cover committed crew and truck time. You may reschedule once without charge, subject to availability.

Our responsibilities

We provide licensed, insured, background-checked crews; furniture protection (pads, shrink-wrap, floor runners) as standard; and the coordination described in your proposal (COI filing, elevator reservations, parking permits where agreed).

Valuation and claims

Interstate moves include the federally required released-value protection of $0.60 per pound per article at no charge. Full-value protection and itemized coverage for high-value pieces are available and quoted before your move. Damage claims must be reported within 9 months of delivery; we acknowledge within 30 days and resolve within 120 days, as federal regulations require.

Items we cannot transport

Hazardous materials (fuel, propane, paint, ammunition), perishables, plants on interstate routes, cash, and irreplaceable documents. Ask your coordinator when in doubt.

Website

Site content is provided “as is” for general information. We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Interstate transportation is additionally subject to federal regulation (49 CFR Part 375).
