Yes. Specialty-only is a common service. We send a dedicated specialty crew + climate truck for just the item(s).

Specialty is flat-rate by item, not by household weight. A grand piano local move starts at $1,490; a 7-figure art collection move is quoted on assessment.

A handful of cases since we started, all resolved via licensed conservators or factory-authorized repair within 14 days. We prefer to not break things in the first place.

We don’t appraise — we work with three Boston-area appraisers we trust. Most clients get the appraisal first, then we use the figure for declared-value coverage.

We assist with international specialty moves alongside vetted international partners — pickup, prep, crating, and handoff on our side; freight, customs, and destination handling on the partner side. We coordinate the whole sequence; we don’t carry the goods overseas ourselves.
